About Sticker Decals

People use the word decal for a sticker that becomes part of the object it is applied to: a club emblem on a car door, a model name on a boat hull, a logo on a guitar case or a number on a race kart. Where a regular sticker is often a simple circle or rectangle, a decal usually follows the edge of the design so it looks painted on rather than stuck on.

Thin script, tiny text and hairline details are harder to cut and apply cleanly, so bold outlines generally give a crisper result. If your design has loose parts, such as separate letters or an emblem with a gap in the middle, tell us how you want them held together or spaced. Car owners often need a mirrored pair for the left and right doors, and teams may want the same emblem with different numbers or names.
