About Helmet Stickers

Measuring a curved surface

A flat sticker bends in one direction more easily than two. A long, narrow strip can follow the side of a shell, but a large square placed on the crown tends to wrinkle at the corners. Measure the flattest area where the decal will sit using a soft tape rather than a ruler, and consider breaking a large graphic into smaller pieces. Round and die cut shapes usually settle onto a curve more neatly than sharp-cornered rectangles.

What each type of helmet usually carries
