About Window Stickers

Which way should the design face?

This is the first decision for any window graphic. A sticker applied on the outside of the glass is read directly. A sticker applied on the inside, facing out, needs the artwork set up so it reads correctly through the glass. Tell us which side you will apply it to, and if people should see a message from both directions, mention that too so we can plan the layout with you.

Storefront and office glass

For shops, restaurants and salons, common requests include store hours, accepted payment signs, social handles and a centered logo at eye level. Clear material lets the interior show through around the lettering, which keeps a display window open. Our clear stickers are worth a look if you want that effect. Measure the pane from frame to frame and note any handles or push bars the design must avoid.

Car, truck and rear windows

Rear windows: check the defroster lines and wiper sweep, and keep the graphic clear of the driver's view.
Side glass on trucks: a business name and phone number need large, simple lettering to be read from a distance.
Small car window stickers: parking, club and school decals often go in a lower corner, so a compact size is usually enough.

Can a window sticker be read from inside and outside the glass?

A standard printed sticker is designed to be read from one side. If your message must be visible from both the street and inside the shop, tell us when you ask for a quote. We can discuss options such as two matching stickers placed back to back.

What should a truck window sticker include?

Keep it short: a business name, a service line and one phone number or web address is usually plenty. People passing on the road only get a few seconds, so large letters and strong contrast against tinted glass matter more than extra detail.

Where is the right spot for a rear window sticker?

Most drivers choose a lower corner or the upper center band, away from the wiper path and outside the main line of sight through the mirror. Measure that area with the glass clean and dry, and send us the dimensions along with a photo of the window if you can.

Are window stickers suitable for seasonal shop promotions?

Yes. Retailers often order a set for a holiday sale or grand opening and swap designs when the promotion ends. If you plan to change graphics regularly, mention that you want them to come off cleanly so we can talk through material choices with you.
